GOP state attorneys general say they’re committed to protecting Americans from crime or unnecessary expense because of Biden-Harris border policies.
Republicans and some Democrats have been criticizing both Biden and Harris for not visiting the border region since taking office. Some critics on social media have noted that Harris visited the border in California in 2018, when she joined a crowd in protesting Trump administration immigration policies.
- Harris is scheduled in June to visit officials in Mexico and Guatemala regarding the “root causes” of migration – and has been holding both in-person and online meetings with Latin American officials and others in preparation for her trip.
