Disney Plus subscription growth has declined.
- Analysts had been looking for about 14.4 million new Disney+ subscribers in the just-reported quarter, to hit about 109 million worldwide at the end of March. But Disney+ added just 8.7 million subscribers, to reach 103.6 million. That counts as a disappointment for investors looking at a stock trading for some 48 times forward earnings. The service added 21 million paid subscribers in the prior quarter.
