President Joe Biden visited Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday to tout his economic plan and took on an interesting topic during his speech at Cuyahoga Community College: Alzheimer’s.
- For what it’s worth, the estimated number of hospital beds in the U.S. in 2019 was just under 920,000, according to the American Hospital Association. At the same time, the Alzheimer’s Association estimates that there are more than 6 million Americans living with the disease — which is not to say every patient currently requires hospitalization.
