- Stocks and other risky assets have been under pressure this week following concerns that rising inflation and a speedy economic recovery could prompt central bankers to pare back easy-money policies. Federal Reserve minutes showed that policy makers in an April meeting signaled their desire to start discussing a plan for reducing the Fed’s massive bond-buying program at a future meeting.
